Most of the time I am craving eggs and carbs, so I whipped up a really quick Naan pizza for Josh and I. It also is under 500 calories and super filling.
What you need: A trip to Trader Joes and leftovers. Sort of kidding. the recipe is below!
Ingredients:
- Naan from Trader Joe’s
- Pesto or marinara sauce
- Cheese (I use Trader Joe’s Almond Cheese)
- Any toppings you want (I used, left over fingerling potatoes, tomatoes and spinach, but I also always have TJ’s preserved artichokes and olives in my pantry.
- 1 Egg
Directions:
- Heat the oven to 425 degrees
- Remove the Naan from the freezer and place it on a baking sheet
- Spread the sauce and begin to put your toppings on including the egg
- Place the pizza in the oven for around 10 minutes, the Naan will defrost and the pizza will cook
- After the 10 minutes is up,put the oven on broil, to thoroughly cook the egg
