This is my third post about Palm Springs, but each time I go, I find new secret spots that make me love the city so much more. Josh and I spent a weekend here in January and had a blast. We took PJ, so all of our activities are dog friendly.
Day 1.
Cocktails, Appetizers, and Pizza at Birba
622 North Palm Canyon Dr
Palm Springs, CA 92262
Egg on pizza? Who could resist that? The perfect seating is by the fire pits, where we relaxed on the pallet couches and enjoyed our dinner.
Day 2.
Brunch at Cheeky’s
Cheeky’s is connected to Birba, they’re actually both owned by the Foundatio 10. A group of people that live eat and breath, the Palm Springs lifestyle of festivals, friends, and fun.
Self Guided Bike Tour
Bike Palm Springs
194 S Indian Canyon Dr
Palm Springs, CA 92262
You can rent a tandem or your own cruisers, and they have every color there that you can choose from! Josh and I tried the tandem, but doing that and having PJ ride along side of us was impossible. So instead, we opted for two beach cruisers. Ask for a self guided tour map and you can bike to look at all of the modern houses, and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains. If you have your motorcycle license or permit, you can do this on a vespa/scooter with Scoot Palm Springs located at the Ace Hotel.
Shakes at Great Shakes
For ice creak lovers: they have every type of shake! Josh and I shared a cookie butter shake that was amazing.
Seafood at Ruben and Ozzy’s Oyster Bar
You might think it’s a little weird, seafood in the Desert, but their food is actually so much more fresh than some of the coastal seafood restaurants I’ve eaten at, and such great prices!
Day 3.
Brunch at Farm
This place is the cutest, I didn’t snag any pictures, but the ambiance is eclectic and adorable, and food is nothing short of amazing.
A walk through the botanical cactus gardens
I was addicted to all of the Palm Springs decor, so I had to visit Moorten Botanical Garden and Cactarium. The garden is small, but the green house is the most beautiful space. I ended up taking home a cactus of my own home.
