Last weekend Josh and I attended his sister’s wedding in Dana Point. Over the past year, we’ve been on a mission to see and travel around Southern California, so we decided to visit the famous Carlsbad Flower Fields and even though I hate crowds, it was worth it!
The flower fields are only open from mid March to mid May and it does cost $16 per adult to get in. So why was it worth it? I have never seen so many flowers in an organized fashion in my life and it was really sweet and romantic to walk along a mile of flower fields with him. Insider blogger tip: if you’re planning on taking photos, I would immediately head all the way to the left of the field where it’s primarily empty of any crowds and the flowers are the thickest. Want to visit? I outlined some visitor tips below!
