Even though we have been purchasing sustainable and ethical apparel over the past year, we still wear a lot of our older clothes because they are still wearable. That’s the beauty of buying less! I also have more time to research and find sustainable and ethical brands that I want to try in the future. Threads 4 Thought has been a clothing brand on my list for a while because they sell clothing for men and women. Last month we finally got a chance to try out a few of their pieces.
Threads 4 Thought is a lifestyle brand that makes clothes from eco-friendly fabrics and produced responsibly. They have a lot of active wear for women which I love because I wear out my pieces pretty quickly, but also some great men’s pieces that I thought Josh might like (I’m trying to get him to break up with JCrew). Here’s a review of the pieces we got and how we’re wearing them!
Look 1: Working Out
Me: crop top and legging set – 8/10
The most sustainable workout set! Made out of recycled polyester and spandex. I think the sizing online isn’t entirely accurate because I purchased both mediums and they were pretty large. But the soft texture and flexibility of the pieces made up for it! Perfect for Yoga, I just won’t do anything high impact in these.
Him: joggers – 10/10
Organic cotton that’s breathable and warm. Josh’s legs always get cold and sweaty at the same time. These joggers not only look good, but they keep his legs warm without working up a sweat.
Look 2: Runaround Town
Me: cropped sweatshirt – 7/10
I love the style and color of this sweater and it’s perfect to throw on for a coffee run or after a workout. How the fabric feels though is very important for me and the inside of the sweater isn’t as soft as I had thought it would be.
Him: long sleeve shirt – 10/10
We love the style of this shirt, it’s timeless! The fabric is also a good weight, so it should last a while. Also a great shirt to throw on for coffee or just hanging out.
Look 3: Date Night
Me: culotte – 10/10
This piece is meant to be worn as active wear, but I love dressing these up! They are the most comfortable pants, but they look so stylish.
Him: water repelling shorts – 10/10
I’m not sure why one would need water repellent shorts. If you can think of a reason let me know; however, Josh loves them! I was hesitant about these at first because I thought the fabric might be odd since they are water resistant, but they don’t feel any different compared to his other shorts from competitor brands. We replaced his chino shorts from J.Crew with these.
We were only in the market for certain pieces of clothing, but I did find a bunch of pieces at Threads 4 Thought that I love, you can shop them in the “shop” section of my site or look for yourself here.
xo,
Thank you Threads4thought for sponsoring this post! As always, all reviews and opinions are my own.
