Last weekend I had to chance to go back to my hometown in Northern California for my childhood friend’s wedding. I love going home for the rolling hills and beautiful trails. I was trying to show my husband Josh this amazing rope swing that I used to play on as a child, but sadly it was taken down because the tree passed away. Although we couldn’t capture any moments on the rope swing, the hills still made a great backdrop for this outfit.
I want to introduce you all to this brand I found that is sustainable and ethically made by ASOS and SOKO-Kenya. They have partnered together to bring us “Made in Kenya”, a sustainable, fair trade, ethical line of clothing that is made by locals at the Rukinga Wildlife Sanctuary in Kenya. This particular area of Kenya has a high rate of prostitution, HIV/AIDS and wildlife poaching. SOKO Kenya offers native women an alternative means of making a living through training and employment. These very women made the romper that I am wearing.
By purchasing this romper at a fair price and wearing it, I’m supporting the women on their journey and their decision to pursue an alternate lifestyle. Not only do I love supporting these women, but I love the how trendy this line of clothing is and the colorful fabrics! Check out the rest of the line here, or simply shop the images below.

This line is stunning! I love the styles on Asos so I’m glad they’ve created a sustainable line that also does good.
Isn’t it? I have always loved ASOS too. I hope they keep it up!
