Summertime Beauty Necessity 1: Coola Organic Sunscreen
Sunscreen is an obvious necessity in the summer time. This summer I dropped Hawaiian Tropics and tried two natural, cruelty-free, vegan companies: Sun Bum and Coola. Both are relatively comparable to each other, but the smell of Coola Organic Sunscreen makes be happy and excited to workout or get going. Coola’s sunscreen also includes ingredients like algae extract and aloe to fight sun aging, which is something you start worrying about in your twenties.
I always opt for a spray sunscreen (aerosol) because I hate the way lotion feels in the heat, but if you can take the feeling, I recommend using the lotions because they are the safest in terms of chemicals and your body. This is just a personal decision until I can tolerate the lotion feeling.
Summertime Beauty Necessity 2: Function of Beauty Natural Shampoo and Conditioner
I swear since I chopped my hair on my birthday my hair has already grown a couple of inches. It’s only been a month. Summertime Beauty Necessity 3: Eco Sonya Deodorant
I’m going to admit something embarrassing. I have not worn deodorant for years because of the fear that my body could not get rid of toxins and that it would absorb the aluminum from traditional deodorant. Boy am I glad that my organic spray tan girl introduced me to this deodorant! Just know that this product doesn’t stop you from sweating, but it masks body odor very well and does not leave any residue like a stick deodorant.
