Palm Springs Part 2

written by Shae April 30, 2016

Whenever I travel I look for 2 things: cool places to explore and good eats.

My favorite places to frequent in Palm Springs are:

Pierro’s PizzaVino

Although Sushi is my all time favorite food, when I’m somewhere like the desert I usually shy away from food that is fresh by the ocean. hah common sense. But my second favorite food is Italian. My favorite part about Pierro’s is that you don’t have to order pizza for an amazing meal. My all time favorite item here is the zucchini blossoms. It’s the flower of the zucchini filled with ricotta cheese and other spices. I also ordered the burrata cheese and a kale salad. If you eat all of these together like a dish it’s pure amazingness and you don’t feel AS GUILTY as you would eating a huge pizza.

The cutest part is that the bread comes in a little paper package which I imagine it’s like when you’re dining in Italy.

Give me all of the pasta.

The Palm Springs Bagel

Apparently it is an actual way of eating a bagel that a little cafe in Palm Springs invented! If you’re not in Palm Springs and want to try here’s the recipe for you.

Ingredients:
1-everything bagel
Hummus (or cream cheese,I use hummus because i’m a picky cheese eater)
Fresh Cut tomatoes
Lemon Pepper
Instructions:
Cut the bagel in half, spread hummus, put on sliced tomatoes and sprinkle with Lemon Pepper Generously!

Get this amazing bagel at Ristretto in Palm Springs

Shop at The Gardens and Shops at El Paseo

This upscale shopping center is beautiful! It’s got so much desert charm, it’s the perfect thing to do when the desert sun starts to set and the cool breeze starts to move in.

Last weekend it the weather was so nice all we did was hang out by the shops and enjoyed the night.

xx always,
